Complaining at work

So I am at work right now. I work in a Nuclear fall out shelter. It is the controll center for WE Energies were they controll the power plants and dispatch and things. Flanners is here installing plasmas on the wall. When you have a building that has 6' thick concrete walls and no windows and the Flanners dudes are drilling with hammer drills you go crazy!!!!

I asked why they don't do this at night.....

$100/hr during the day
$300/hr durning the night.


Thats it I guess. :(

It isn't so we can watch TV. It is for storm management to get you in power sooner. I know they worked out a deal on the tvs too so they were cheaper than LCD's. So don't worry about this too much.

I'm sure there are a lot of "overhead" costs that they spend money on that would REALLY piss you off, but almost any company has those costs. Atleast the TV's are actually being used to do the job, rather than the CEO,CFO,COO's afternoon golf game.

WE Energies sucks my balls, seriously I hate my bill, and I hate that I have to service their locations (basically, how I'm treated, and their prices are super low). I don't have a problem with spending money on equipment for them, but I have a huge problem with them advertising. They're a GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED MONOPOLY. They have ZERO competition, they should have NO advertising budget.

I completly agree. For them it is all about customer satisfaction. More people see the comercials as "oh look they care about us" than the obvious " we could give a crap we can charge you as much as we want cuz you have no choice." Did I mention that a lady is the CEO of We Energies. That might explain a lot of the problems ;)

I have other things to get pissed about instead of getting pissed about what WE Energies spends their money on. Either way I have to pay their bill if I want to or not. :goof You can cut costs all you want but there are always employees that are stealing from their jobs keeping costs up anyway.
