to be the all time TD pass leader?

He has 402 now...needs 420 to tie.

Lets not forget...Favre had 19 TD passes ALL year in 2005. :)

Barring serious injury, I'd say yes.

He'll easily pass him.

But I also think Peyton will pass them both. He's already got like almost 250 of them.

Yeah...before today peyton only needed 172 to tie.

172 is still 6 more great years though. Puts him at about 15 seasons which is rare air. He'll need to stay healthy like Favre has his whole career.

Cant argue there.

I'm a believer...

He looked like he was enjoying the game like it was 1995 again today.

Yeah...I was actually happy to see him happy again.

He'll do it, but not before breaking the interception record first.

A little confidence goes a long way. Hopefully they can keep this momentum and use it to their advantage... especiall the younger guys who need it really badly.

He's got 19 TD to throw before he throws 20 more picks to break each record. Your statement is pretty bold. Nothing wrong with that but it will be interesting to see.

If I recall correctly didnt he say that he will come back for one last season meaning this year as his last ? He does however seem humble enough not to care about the records but who knows getting really close and not getting it can sure unhumble someone

I agree, but who says he has to be a starter though or play the whole game.

Honestly, I have no clue as to what is going on for the packers other than winning and losing.

Some of the guys I work with are just a church building away from making Brett Favre a god. They can associate anything to Favre faster than those 'six degrees of Kevin Bacon' people. They criticize me when I speak 'car' despite their football conversations which account for %50 of what is said as a whole while I am there.

The only Packer thing I really care about is the $10 bet I made that says they don't make it to the playoffs.

With the defense they have this year Farve will be throwing alot more touchdown passes to try and win games. He'll take the record.

Yeah. He will pass him, but it could happen next year.

I think it would be cool to have both records actually. Kinda interesting that you could have that many picks and at the same time the record setting number of td's.

he only needs like 20 int's right?

Yup, compared to 19 TD's

He will break the interception record first. All his wild hail marry throws will start getting more and more common with the teams they are going to face this year.
