I said I didnt like it and though it ruined the car and posted some pics of a front *I* though he should have went with..

He then calls me a *** and says.."You own an ass ugly, early ninties, piece of @!#$ fox body that I would spank any day of the week" (Funny thing is I openly admit my car is slow....so no arguement there  ).
I guess his attitude is just about as good as that front looks...like sh!t.
Seriously...if people want HONEST opinions....then why get all shitty wen somebody says they dont like it?

The LARGE opening on the bottom looks like it would be ideal for plowing snow. I may have to look him up in a few months to plow my drive, could you give me his number?:goof

There should be an IC at least, if you are going to have an opening that big.

The black car is the bodykit thats on the Rhys Millen Racing Drift GTO

RMR kit, ick.

The Red Car is the Sport Appearance Package. I have the grilles, and always intended to get the full kit.

The yellow car is a stock car w/ creative paint work.

That type of front end should only be put on a real race car AND it should be the type with the adjustable turnbuckles so that you can set the downforce.

If that front end is just some hollow plastic, it will probably break off at 110 mph.

you should bud, you've only been looking at them for four model years. probably one or two more, since this time of year they stop selling.

It looks different, but what I want to know is what are you going to put in that big hole in the front?

Holeshot
09-25-2006, 07:44 AM
As a goat owner I can tell you I am not a fan of the auto x front. As for the first pic I would pass on that for sure. But eveyone has their own ideas of how they want the thier car to look. I have seen the yellow jacket on another board. I don't know if he was looking for a more agressive look or a auto x look. Either way its the least offensive look of the three.

What ever you choose, its your car and you can do with it what you want.

Bobby72GTO
09-25-2006, 12:12 PM
It is true you can do what you want. I on the other hand have an old car and putting a body kit on my car just wouldn't make sense.

it needs a big ass air to air to make it tolerable.....but still not good.

Well.....I give Coop $hit about his car, because I know him.

Actually, his car was not at Road America 5 min on Sat, before people started taking pictures, and asking about it.

I dont think hes sensitive, just annoyed by Trolls.

Um, he's just a trend setter, trying to emulate NASCAR's Car of Tomorrow!

http://jayski.com/schemes/2006/COT/lms-cot1.jpg

http://jayski.com/schemes/2006/COT/MW-MIS-82106.jpg

Now all he needs is the NASCAR-issue rear wing.

The drivers of these fine machines will have a handful when they stuff the front/rearends into the wall, dontcha think?

So by that logic.......All these are rice?:confused

Race cars and street car have been using spoilers larger thatn what is currently using for a long time.

There is nothing wrong with having a wing on your car; I have the option wing Pontiac made for my car. It is a big wing but then again it is a big. I think it makes the car.

nismodave,

I'd not consider any of your examples a version of rice. Those are all original equipment parts. Heck, all three of my wifes' past cars ('91 GP, '97 B-ville, '03 GPGT) all had/have spoilers. In my opinion, the world's auto manufacturers throw too many spoilers on too many cars.

Now, out of the three, I don't care much for the cyclone spoiler or the 442 spoiler, but that's just me. Superbird is in a whole different catagory as those cars were specially built to meet NASCAR production car rules for '70.

However, when I see an example of this

http://jayski.com/schemes/2006/COT/lms-cot3.jpg
or this

http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/racinglab_1912_212218325

on the rear deck of a car, I think rice.
