Me and my dad have been looking for a nova to restor and make it our own. We didnt want one that was rusted/already been hacked/or had AC. Being we didnt want ac and finding a clean southern car is a bit hard. But after wating we finally came across one. Its a 72 strait 6 with a 3 on the tree. I went and picked it up today from my dads firend at Jefferson. When i got there i stayed for aabout 10 mins and at least 5 people were asking about the car. Pulled out and two guys stopped me and asked if i bought when i sayed yes they swore and looked pissed that they might have wanted it. Anyway, i built a 396 bored .40 over with some forged pistons and nice size cam for it when i was in school. Its going to look factory as me or my dad dont like the braided hose/chrome asscesory look. The car will be complety stripped and repainted. Still not sure on the color. Interior will be balack. Its going to be radio and heater delete no power steering rubber mat car with dog dish hubcaps.
Heres a few pics of it as it sits right now.

Those are my favorite cars for sure, I had a 69 that never quite made on the road when I owned it.

These pics dont do its justice but here they are. Its a 72 owned since 73 saw about 2 winters when he got married becaue they bought a house and couldnt afford another car. Its never been "restorted" its just been taken care of here and there we took things off redid them and it looks like new. Paint is 85% original its pewter silver very rare in its day. Bucket seats 4 speed 350 4barrel put a cam in it 2 years ago.

That car looks nice, I would leave it that green with the green interior, mini tub it and make it into a sleeper!!! Heck I wouldn't even do any body work just leave it as is, I would put on some SS badges to make the old guys cry
