ok i had a blown headgasket and swapped that out and added 1.72 rockers while i was there.i got it up and running great now its really lopey now cause of the added lift and now i hear at idle only like a wierd knock here and there but goes away after it runs a bit.its just like every couple seconds its like a loud single knock then goes away.its a stock 302 with 13000 miles on it.it does have some engine noise anyway but runs strong even now its very responsive and runs good.oil pressure is good.after some running the motor even before made some knocking noise but not too bad this is wierd like something is just smashing in there.i did leave the same plugs in the heads im wondering if i should put some new plugs and gap em they do look a little used up could that be causing some problems? could they be causing some kind of misfire that would cause this? it goes completly away once the car is running for a bit.i know i was having some problems getting the car running when i got it done so im wondering if the plugs did fry up from that point.its only at like low idle its kinda a popping kind of knocking.if i raise up the idle or rev it up its gone and dosnt do it

if you want some real info on my car let me know i have thousands of new parts for this car.car runs good and i blew a headgasket cause i used the wrong headgaskets.the knock that i was hearing was backfire in the motor cause the timing was off these were problems i was having after i got it back together.i am driving this car 100 miles a day and can drive it to where ever too meet ya if you want to check it out.the motor is getting tired but runs,sounds and performs very good still,i have a brand new 3500$ stroker motor sitting in the garage also so if you want to talk hit me up i have over 15,000$ into my car and can work a deal with parts without parts or anything im just throwing shit up im always up for making deals and i thought i was check you out cause i miss having a blown fox car.not even sure a deal can be made but it dosnt hurt to talk to people.it just pisses me off that morons like him have nothing better to do then start shit with people when they dont have the first ******* clue
