Why do you want installed on the side?
They work better installed INSIDE the car.

Not that hard. You should at least have a mild understanding of how electronics work. If you do it, take your time and work at it step by step. The last one I did, there was an 800 number on the install sheet that you could call if you had problems.

I have done them before. The hardest thing is getting around the factory security system, but in '93 I don't think GM had anything that complicated yet. It's a days worth of work if you are going to try to do it yourself and you want to do it right. I will offer to do it for you but my schedule is kind of full right now, probably won't be able to get time until october.

93 you don't have to worry about a immobilizer bypass or anything of the such. Lash and Phillyo on this board are both very very good installers. Phil has worked on my car before and I worked with him at Stay Tuned, very clean wiring.
PM Lash or Phillyo, I'm sure one of them can help you out if not find someone who can.
