Email Virus

I got a virus in my email. Is just sending mass amounts off emails to me. Will a regualar virus scan work to posssily fix it or what?
I have road runner but check my mail with out look express

it should, do you have a anti virus program? run that and it wont hurt to run a spyware as well, you never can be too safe
