I keep seeing comercials for this flippin place but I have never seen one anywhere in the state. Any one know if they even have them here. I am waiting for the Stake'n'shake to come on next.

I got a lot of time to watch tv since I got my wisdom teeth out. :(

This post brought to you by "Perkiset" my mostest favoritist drug in the world.

No Sonics anywhere near. Champaign, IL is the closest. If I had the cash, that is EXACTLY the business I would open, and as close to the HWY as I could. I've heard from numerous sources that it is by far the best of the chain fast food joints. Nothing like serving up great food and driving the WAPD crazy in the process. :thumbsup

There used to be a Steak-N-Shake down by Regency Mall in Racine, but within the last couple of years it went under. Too bad. I discovered Steak-N-Shake about 15 years ago, while staying in Indy for the Super Chevy event they had there.

You just made me hungry.........I think I'll go to Sonic since it's about a 5 minute drive. :headbang

Don't feel bad, I'd kill for a Culvers and a Rocky Rococo's down here.

Vicodin is my friend... percocet flips my world upside down that stuff is too strong for my ass. Well it was when I took it 6 years ago when my wisdoms were pulled.

I have no clue where a sonic is around here. Personally I'd rather have Kopps, Omega, or Oscars... ooh or Gus's in East Troy

Steak-N-Shake isn't that good...IMO. Stopped there once in IN, saw enough of them in IN/IL....similar to Culvers if I could compare it to anything, but not nearly as good.

Also stopped at a Donato's(sp) outside of Indy, that was good...IMO. They have wings, subs, pizza and actually open late while most places are closed. Very good, I wouldn't mind one around here.

Wasn't there a Sonic in Kenosha a few years ago?

Jeez, I've lived out here in Waterford for the last 9 years, and I've never even heard of the place. Looks like I'll have to try it out next weekend.

As for the other places you've mentioned, eh. Kopp's is the best of the lot and and that ain't sayin' much. Their pre-made monkey-meat burger would taste like absolute shit if it weren't for their liberal use of condiments. For me, there are much better. The bacon-cheese-burger w/fried onions  I had yesterday at the Night Owl drive-in on the north end of Mitchell airport kicks MAJOR ass on the rest of the drive-in burger joints in the area. :thumbsup Better than Bella's Fat Cat or most of the sit-down places, as well. The only burger that might rival it is from Mazo's on 27th. Now I haven't been to Sobelman's yet, but I understand that they're supposed to have the best in the city. For me to go down to some shit-hole bar on 26th & St. Paul they'd better be the best...

I ate at a couple in Denver about 25 years ago. IIRC, they were pretty good, but there is something about eating a sandwich that has "Jack Sauce" on it that just isn't right...:wow

Nothin' beats Heffner's in Cedarburg!!!

I have been going there at least once a week since the mid 90's.

Other than the new people who work there, they all know my order, which is a cheeseburger w/ mustard and a medium Mtn. Dew. The total comes to $4.01, but I can remember when $2.85 bought the same thing.

I even worked there for about 8 weeks. I ended up getting canned (for a real bs reason, not a 'it is kinda bs') but made sure that I did not do anything bad enough that would get me kicked out fo' life.

Imagine that! Despite getting canned by the same person who works there now, I still stop in at least once a week to get food because it is SO GOOD!!! I'll probably go there tommorrow since the last time I went there was on Thursday and the day before that was last Sunday.

Yup I have a Sonic about 2 minutes from where I live. Theres also a place called Checkers which IMO is a lot better. There use to be a Checker on 27th and College about 4-5 years ago where the do it yourself carwash parking lot is.

I'll stick with an Orlando Ale House burger anytime. Funny that this place is owned by Miller, so I have a little piece of home within walking distance if I want to go out and get plastered.
