Hey guys, I'm going to need a trailer to go pick up my new 1968 Dodge Challenger 440 Six Pack and there's no way I'll be able to drive it home.

Anyone have a trailer I can rent/borrow? I'm not quite sure when I'll be doing it yet (since I'm at school right now) but I'm just trying to see what I'm going to have to do.

Thanks guys!

~Ryan

Dodge didn't start making Challengers until 1970. :confused

They started building the prototype in 1968 :)

If you are getting 68 Challenger Prototype its worth well into the millions, can I see a pic? Just for reference purposes. :wow

I sent you a PM back, we'll have to wait and see what it really is once I have it in my drive way. Even if it turns up to be a 1970 production 440, I'll be a happy man.

No 68 Challenger, no prototype even in 68...

No 440 six pak until 69 - 1/2...

If you'd like, PM me the VIN, casting numbers off the block, stamped numbers off the pad by the distributor, etc. and I can tell you what you found.

Really what I've run into is a car that hasn't been touched in a LONG time and the owner INSISTS that its a 68. Of course there is no Challenger until 70 and even with the FIRST prototype in 1968, there's slim chance that this guy has one. The whole Challenger concept started in 65, designed in 66, and 40 something of the 1970 challengers were built in 1968 and a few more in 69 until production.

Either way, it's confirmed that it's a 440 in it so even if it turns up to be a 70, I'm happy.

The more I think about it, I'll bet its a Challenger T/A 340 Six-Pack...
