Thats a truck engine. Those pics were just in the latest GM Hightech.

The tall oil fill, the dipstick, and the manifolds are dead giveaways its not a car engine, also remember vettes are now dry sump, no dipstick or oil full on the valve cover. The water pump inlet neck and pulley would also be give aways if those could be seen. That whole thing is way too tall for a vette. And the throttle body goes up at an angle too in the front (red cover)

Its a superchaged 6.2L for the new Escalade V. The blower is mounted upside down under the polished intake, then blows therough a water to air intercooler/ (see coolant ports on the back) then blows down the tubes into the intake ports. It's gotta a paragraph write up on that very engine, and briefly mentions the blue devel project. Someone is mis informed on that vette site.
