After many nights laying awake try to think of how i can accuratley fuel the wet side of my direct port kit... i finally decided to build a dedicated fuel system, consisting ofa holley blue carb pump, a 3 gallon circle track cell and a regulator.

Here is some install shots, please ignore the messy engine bay, it got fudged up while i was installing these parts. Just needa couple more parts and it will be ready for testing. Hoping to get it down to the slicks only night this thurs for some shake downs.

yes, because clearly that is a clean clutter free engine bay after you look past all the clutter.

the originating poster agrees? :confused
oh noes!! little stevie is following me thru another post again!!! does someone have a crush on me?
IMO, you're the moron going from post to post, usually bagging on something I posted a week later. like this.

I just tested it out yesterday, i have a WOT micro switch that intermittenly works that turns the spray on and off at random. So it was hard to get an accurate idea of how its running for sure.

the new system works, no more lean bog, just instant blast once it comes on. I have it set to spray at 4G right now to keep the drag radials on the car when the kit hits.

Had low bottle psi when testing (750psi) and i knocked a wire off for the heater so i have to fix that. it was holding a low 11AFR most of the time at 7PSI of fuel pressure.

Once the system shuttering is solved, ill drop the psi to about 6 once and see what happens, id like it to be about 11.8 AFR then start throwing a touch more timing at it (only 21* right now) being im injecting 130 octane "blue" non leaded AVgas into it as well.

What Micro Switch Are You Using If It Isnt A Nos One Get One Dude I Just Spent All Summer Trying To Chase A 10.00 Micro Switch Cause Ares Did The Surging Thing And We Couldnt Figure It Out

Lol yeah i spent 30 min tracing all my electrical connections last night, tested the micro switch i was using (from a lawn and garden application) and it was very inconsistent on the ring out. Also found a poor grounding issue with one of the solenoids too.

Got it replaced with a good Cherry brand switch, fixed the ground, got the heater working again as well.

Now that it stopped raining i will be able to street test it now and dial in the AFR

Tom, are you planning on making some track shakedowns yet this year???

That would be cool, that Camaro has been a labor of love for you.

yeah very soon, todays testing proved succesful. A touch more timing and bottle PSI and see where AFR sits then it will be ready. May have to jet up again, ive got the psi out the regulator cranked to 7 and its anywhere from 11.6-12.3 AFR, goes any leaner than that its gonna need jets, unless i add more through the main injectors. Gonna try 24 degrees of timing from 21. It goes pretty good, still might redo my power feed wiring yet though.

if you put timing in it,make sure you throw even more fuel at it
