Hello & Happy Labor Day to all....

Just came on the board today and and wanted to say hello to everyone. I recognize a few of the people here from events, and others from their cars. I took mine out for the first time this summer because I couldn't wait any longer and had to play with it. I bought it nearly 5 years ago and reworked the body after haveing the motor gone through. It still needs plenty of things done to it but I couldn't wait any longer.

I'll probably be looking for some good resources to help on the performance end over this coming winter. I'll be replacing the interior in the mean time...

Cheers!

AL

I didn't want to even attempt to make a clone out of this car. Would cost a fortune. (besides, it wouldn't fit in the garage)

I just wanted something different so I added some of my favorite features from the 2nd generation Chargers to this one since the '68 was my favorite year for the Charger.

If it were a rare R/T or Hemi car I probably would have gone to original rather than the custom. I'm the 2nd owner and this car was originally Lt. blue/green with a white top and white tail stripe. I got very lucky, the entire car was very solid (no rust) but it had it's share of dents.

No real meaning to the wing art. A friend of mine had a Jolley Roger (Pirate symbol) inside a pentagon on the side of his wing and I didn't want to duplicate it so I combined it with the Pharo's head piece and put swords in the place of the crossed bones. I used the Chrysler pentastar as the jewel on the eye patch. Again, Just something different.

Once it was done, I burned it to a CD and brought it to Stretch to have it converted to decales.
