I just finished putting a set of rebuilt ported and polished E7TE heads, F303 cam, a ported and polished cobra intake, and a 70mm throttle body on my 1991 Mustang GT. It took some playing with the timing to get it to run but its gotta idle around 1500 to be driveable, and its very slow it barely takes off. Anybody got any ideas of what could be wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

When I put the cam in I lined everything up like it was and on the new timing chain it had a advance and retard key way now that I think about it I might of put it in the wrong key way thanks. I guess tomorrow im gonna have to rip it back apart. Thanks for the idea.

Could also be plug wires mixed up

The plug wires are on right. I played with the timing and got it to idle lower but it doesnt start taking off till above like 3000 rpm.
