does anyone know what a city of milwaukee garbage man makes an hour? are they union? if so does anyone know there pay scale? thanks ALOT:banana1:

i think they make about 35-40 k without overtime.

35-40 is accurate, but it is a HARD job to get. I wanted t be a garbage man since I was like 6, its true

I applied to be a GM in Shorewood years ago. They sent me a letter saying "Out of the 7500 applications we recived we didn't pick you"

I know they get paid to be on call to plow in winter, would be a cool job for the bennies alone.

I would say that if you add the benefits into the hourly rate then it would be more.

waste management and onyx and veoila are the same company???

My understanding is that they are owned by WM. I could be wrong however. It has happened before.
