I think it is a 427, it has the right hood.

Most of the time i would think it is a 390 car with a 427 hood. But since it is in the Delifield area, who knows.

I think it is a 427, it has the right hood.


The 427 cars had the "parallagram" emblems on the very front of the fenders , it's easy to buy the glass 427 hood like that and put it on.....


Prolly a 289 car.......

Looks kinda like a 390 badge on the fender, so that is another reason I was wondering. I love those cars and miss my '67 a lot!

The 289 and the 390 emblems for the Fairlanes that year were mounted in the same place and looked the same except of course one says 289 and the other 390......the 427 cars had the emblems that were mounted in a different spot( leading edge of front fender ) and looked totally different.....


A factory 390 Fairlane is really quite rare today as most had the 289 in them.....

My buddy has a 67 Fairlane GT, was an original 390 4 speed, but now has a nasty 427 in it, wicked car, last I heard he wanted around $15K for it.

Yea thats my car the plate is mounted on the air dam it works well. The show is every tuesday nite it is usually a pretty good turn out.
