I lost the emission slip to my car in the move and I can't find it anywhere, it might have been thorwn out by mistake but anyways...

How do I go abouts getting a new one or do I just take my car down to the emissions station and tell them I lost my slip???

They should have all the information in there computer when I registerd the car.

Thanks -Josh

Yeah just take it down there and tell them that you just moved and you lost the slip. They will let you go through any ways. I did that for one of my cars that sat for six months, and lost the slip....no problems what so ever

Dont blame you, that is why my car is registered in a diferent county. But the emissions laws might change here soon, like they are in illinois, only 96 and newer cars will have to go in.

In Waukesha, the god-damned buses go past my house every hour, when they take off from the stop sign they push out a thick, solid stream of black smoke, it pisses me off to no end.

This is for the HONDA that everyone and their grandma tries racing me.

I have the registration paper in my wallet would that be good enough?

I have never had one with me and never had a problem. They just gave me a blank one and had me fill it out right there

I think he is talking about the slip that you get in the mail saying its time to go into emissions. If you go in there, they can match it up by plate too. I never had a problem with that or with having to pay a fee, but I havent had any of my cars registered in an emissions controlled county in a few years

yeah if you are missing the piece that comes in the mail just go there and they can pull it up by your VIN, if you passed you really don't need that paper, when I was a police officer I never asked to see itm, so who cares what happened to it.. If your looking to sell the car that might be a plus..

No.....official procedure states that you must go to the station. FIRST, go to the office and fill out a substitute renewal form, then get in line!!!!

Im not renewing the tags, I registered and I have to take emissions for it. I guess I'll go tomarrow and find out...

It's actually coming from Madison from what the experts say.

I'd be more inclined to believe its from Gary/Chicago.
