Some of you might know that my better half and I own a 92' Taurus SHO, and if not....now you do:thumbsup . Now I know for the most part everyone looks at them and says "it's a fricken Taurus, what's the big deal?". So I explain that it's not an everyday Taurus......I show them the motor, the fact that it's a 5-speed, and then they realize it's a little more than just a Taurus. Now I'm not claiming that it's the fastest or coolest thing on four wheels but my father had one identical to ours back in 93' and I've been hooked since day one......

Anywho, could you say the same thing about this Ford.......?

not sure if i understand the question.

Sorry, I guess I was a little vauge so I'll just spit it out......

Could you look past the fact that it's a Festiva, or is it still a Festiva......?

I like how a bunch of people are asking the seller questions about using it as a DD...

A/C gas milage, highway noise, etc....

Pretty cool though.

It was hard for me to read some of those ?'s, and after doing so I'd like to slap some of those people upside their heads>>> noise?.....from the looks of it YOUR PRACTICALLY SITTING ON TOP OF THE MOTOR!.......some people...........

Not to sound like an ass, but what is the question here? What do you need opinions on? The Festiva? :confused
I say who gives a shit, if you like the car buy it, plain and simple. You won't ever pull up next to another one at a show, etc...:thumbsup
Thats just my 2 cents...;)

Just your opinion(s) on what you think about it, there are many things that are one of a kind but sometimes it's not always for good reason. Like the 4dr Saturn convertible that someone posted a link to a week or so ago......

just an observation, but the sho-gun replica is an automatic... doesn't that make it the less-desirable 3.2l v-6?

still a bad-ass car though

I want to see a SHO motor in a FIERO. It still would be ugly but that motor was built for a car like the Fiero. It would be fun to drive.

i beleive it is less than desirable because attached to it was the auto wich is known to be less than steller and breaks....alot

The original SHOGUN's were 5-speed, and the only reason I've finally decided not to buy this one is it's auto. The SHO Taurus' came with the 3.0L's for the manual, and the 3.2L's with the auto. The 3.2 was made from the 3.0 with more cubes(obviously), different cams, and a few other very minor changes to make more low end torque to get the auto SHO's going along with the 5-speeds. Other than that they're the same.......

I just did a google search for SHOGUN and found some interesting info, and I'm shocked to see that an original SHOGUN went 12.9 in the 1/4 mile.......

I always thought the Festiva's were cooler with the Mazda turbo 1.6 swapped in.
