Took a ride up to Green Bay and stopped at Lambeau Field after I took 1st place at a car show in Janesville the day before.

Are ya guys happy....I pulled the bra off for the show and for when I drive around town..BUT it goes back on when I hit the highway :)

Nice pics....awesome job...Now for those of us dumbasses like my self (I know Ford, not too much on Pontiac) What made the Firehawk different from say the trans am? I am just curious as I thaught that the firehawk edition was sweet when I first saw one down in fla

in a nutshell:

they start out as a base Trans Am/Formula and if you ordered it with the WU6 option (Firehawk RPO code) then they went to SLP and got upfitted with whatever SLP options you chose. The main different between a Formula/Trans Am/WS.6 and my Firehawk is the hood, suspension, exhaust and wheels. A base Firehawk just adds a different hood, exhaust and painted rims. The main reason I ordered it was that you don't see them that often (mine is #9 of 741 for the model year 2000....in contrast I believe they made over 10,000 WS.6's in 2000 and there is only a TOTAL of a little over 5,000 Firehawks built in the 10 years of production) and I prefer the more sleaker look of the Firehawk's hood over the WS.6's and Trans Am's.

here are some links that may explain it better:

Cool, now I have a better understanding about it...It is kind of like the limited edition Hurst/slp firebird....(saw that one in Car and Driver)

look at how nice that car looks!

Bras are ghey, and only help from paint chipping if your tailgating. Plus they look mad lame. IMO

I agree, it looks a butt load better......BUT I still put it back on for the highway. :goof Chips just don't happen when tailgaiting. All you have to do is pass a semi or come across some constuction vehicle full of mud/rocks/gravel that's entering the highway to get pegged with crap. I once had a CHUNK of mud/dirt come at me from a construction vehicle way ahead of me on the interstate and it hit the front of my car and flew up and over my car....luckily my bra was on. I pulled over expecting the worst and all I saw was the powder mark the size of a baseball on my bra. NOTHING happened to the car and the powder residue just washed right off of the bra. That one incident paid for the bra itself. Not to mention the sandblasting effect on the lower bumper that happens after miles of highway driving.

So, even though I don't care for the look of it, I still put it on when I am on the highway :thumbsup

If it washs off the bra, it will wash off the car :-P I put 30,000 miles on my s10 after I re-painted it, and I didn't have one chip out of it anywhere ;-)

hahahaha. My buddy and I were talking poo to Nick Barnett but they looked like crap when I was there. 1st team got intercepted their first 2 plays but the 3rd stringers...pretty funny. I got over 230 pics from their camp. Guess you shouldnt let a Steelers fan into Lambeau:goof
