I saw a '72 Skylark on the way to work today that had to be running 24's at least! It was really sad, cause other than the wheels, the car was really clean... I just don't get it.

I saw that one too. Was it parked at someplace on Hwy 100? I can't remember exactly where I saw it.

Straight Cougar abuse.
I would beat the owner with a tube sock full of wood screws.
All of them are a shame, but the Cougar physically hurts me to see.

All your spare tube socks are full of astro-glide and bgcntry juice! :rolf

I'm with you though, throw some Rally wheels or Magnums on any one of them muscle cars and I'd drive the hell out of them. The way they sit, I'd ghost ride them off a cliff, with the owner tied up in the trunk...

Sad....poor poor g-bodies...and the others too ;). Such clean cars, but like you said...it all can be reversed and someday will. If 10 years from now most of the *donks* or whatever look the same, I'll crap myself.

Pretty sad when most of the g-body publicity comes from lowriders and now this crap. Better uses(and looks) out there!

Lowriders I dig, I'd roll a nicely built g-body lowrider any day of the week. :thumbsup

As seen in the movie "the Wraith"..It is hard to find a copy of that movie for sale though....and I dont think that you can get a dvd of it....

As far as the "trend" og taking nice looking g bodys and other cars, raising them 10 feet off the ground and putting the biggest, ugliest rims you can find on them, all I can say is what the ****!!!!!!! How can you do that to a car that is as nice as that.....put rims that arnt ugly, that go nicely with a muscle car on it, and call it a day, anything over a 17 on a g body is a little excessive

Yeah, I have seen that site before....My faves are the daytonas (too bad they are auto) the Firebird, and I have to admit the truck....the cuda was cool because of the "kills" that were painted on the side....

Best line from the movie.."Things are becomming a little too equil out there"

I think I saw the movie within the last 1-2 years on TV. I remember seeing it as a kid, was pretty cool then :D.

IMO 20” can look good on cars with the right stance, anything larger its just too tacky.

I definately wouldn't kick them out either. Not the cars fault the owner has humungo wheel disease.

But I'd be damned if I drove around with 99% of those wheels on them ;).

I'd even stick stock wheels on with tons of rubber showing if need be.

IMO the wheels, much like everything else, should accent the car...not dominate its appearance. Unless its an ugly POS, but its not the case with these beauties :alcoholic .

LS(Luxury Sport) front end, came out in mid 86'. The older flat fronts are an SC(Sport Coupe).

That can't be the smartest thing to do on a highway. Imagine if he broke something while moving at speed... but it is kind of cool in its own way.

Reminds me of one of the Cheech & Chong movies, where he is laughing and hopping the van, and it starts rolling backwards.
