I picked this up over the weekend in Indiana.

1969 New Yorker 2 door
440/automatic with a 8 3/4 limited slip (Sposed to have 4.10's in it)

The engine is all stock with a rebuilt Holley. Single exhaust ( leaks everywhere)
Factory air (Bummer cause it means no wing windows!) that still works.

Odd ball interior, pass seat has a head rest and drivers side doesn't. Buckets with buddy seat/arm rest.

I will have to shoot more pics of all the freaky oddball things that were done to it. The orig owner did some tin work for ducting to the Rad and it looks like a WWII airplane (After being crashed). Welded on trailer hitch. Hydraulic trailer brake set up. The car was used to tow an Airstream from IN to FL every year by the orig owner. Must have been some great gas milage for that trip.......

I'm evaluating things and may drop my 440 in it with B Body headers and go be a punk for a while......

More pics to follow!

It was a blast dragging it home, longer than my truck and weighs about the same....

Had a guy in a newer Vette walk up at a gas station, he looked at it and said "wow thats big......"

We almost did!

Note the trailer hanging low in front...... We tried putting the car on backwards. Went up ok and we went down the state road....spooled it up to about 50 and the trailer started whipping from side to side like crazy. Lesson learned..... Flipped it the right way and drove home.

Slowly....

Very slowly.......

i woulda used the white car and towed the truck :)

Looks to me like the car is actually longer than the trailor....I would hate to see the idiot who decides to tailgate you when you are driving that thing....

That shelby charger you have in the one pic.....that thing run?

The Shelby is a non runner at the moment. I picked it up last year for $350 in Colgate. 49k on the clock. Has a 2.2 with dual 2 throat webbers, DC header, 13-1 pistons, MSD ign and a bunch of other stuff. It hasn;t been running since the late 80's early 90's and has been shuffled around about 10 times since then. The previous owner thought it had a bad head gasket but never worked on it to check. It's next on the list to get pushed in the garage!

It's colder than the outside air at least! I'm used to the old Chrysler 2/55 A/C system. Keeps me skinny!

Has the V Twin compressor that looks like a Harley engine.

I fuggin love it.
I dated a chick that had a 2 door Caddy that was about the same size.
If you were to get into a head on collision, anyone sitting in the back would be airborne at least 30 seconds before hitting the back of the front seat.
You could make an EVO from the metal in one door.
Fuggin beautiful.

Nah, XL Harley shirts work best!

You will note that the pass side seat has the rare reclining seatback option. Seriously, thats what the lever is!

I checked into plates for the New Yorker today and it seems the state will be issuing it a new zip code instead of a plate. A nice deal!
