when I was at hiller ford yesterday, there was an older couple taking delivery on their new GT500. Looked very nice. Black vert with charcoal stripes, all black interior. Sounded verrrrrrrry nice when they fired it up to take it out of the showroom. first one I saw in person. Salesman told me it was sold only a few days after they got it in. If I heard correctly, the gentleman paid 20g's over sticker for it :wooo Anyway, don't know if anyone knows this man or if he is a member here, but it was a very nice car :banana1: :thumbsup

Probably Jerry from All Glass. I think he buys all his cars there and $ isn't really an object.

anyone have a picture of this guy? id probably be able to confirm if it his him. Whoever this gentleman was at the dealer, I know he had his son drive it off the lot, probably for shits and giggles. His son, appeared to be late 20's early 30's with his wife, was lookin pretty tickled when he got in the driver seat. I know I would be :D

now what do we define as not having money?

I mean, I pay my bills, but theres nothing left in my pocket. does this count as not having money?

I doubt it was the guy from all glass if they did pay over the sticker price. I talked with this Jerry a couple weeks ago and he said he's never paid a penny over invoice on any of his cars......I was suprised.

Nope, it wasn't him (Jerry). Talked to the guys at Hiller yesterday. And you were close.. I guess he paid 15K over MSRP.

why would someone in their right mind EVER charge Jerry a nickel over sicker when the guy owns some of the most exotic cars in WI? That would be retarded! They don't need to insult the man by asking to shell out $15K over sticker and potentially lose his business. He is the ULTIMATE customer. TONS of money, no need for financing and has a GREAT taste in cars. You don't insult customers like that. Sh1t if it was my dealership, I would drive the car to his house myself and walk home afterwards!

I'd love to see some kind of A&E Celebrity Profile type show on Jerry.
Who would've known 4 sides of glass, 2 plastic frames, and some silicone would turn into a Microsoft-esque monopoly in the aquarium world, and wealth beyond anyone's wildest dreams :thumbsup

This is a good read though:

Well, now I read this:

[Posting from 2003]
All-Glass was bought out by Oceanic a few years ago. Still make the tanks the same, the name stays the same, it's just not owned by Roger and Jerry Ritzow anymore. After Jerry sold Roger his half of the company, Roger sold out to Oceanic to the tune of about $490 million!!!

I know some Ritzows from Muskego, I wonder if they are related?
