Yep, $1300, I took a hit, but I had bills to pay. I'm happy.
The buyer saw the car parked for sale by my house, he works here in Waukesha. Real nice guy, he had a brand new Nissan SUV on 22's, and he said he also has a 72 Cutlass 442 Convertible that he has over $25K into. He bought the car for his 16 year old son. Good people, I had $1500 on the sign, he offered $1200, I said $1300, and he whipped a huge wad of cash out and paid me. He probably had like $4-$5K cash in his pocket.:wow

If the gangstas where white dudes, they live up the street, there actually nice guys, they've always been real polite and friendly with me and my family. The one just turned 16, he was bugging me to take weekly $100 payments on it.

I started at $3500 when it had the Dayton wire wheels on it, then I sold the wheels. After that I advertised it for $2500 and didn't get any interest. Hard times hit, I put it up at $1500, now its gone. :crying
It had 58K original miles, it was stored for over 15 years before I bought it. It was a very nice car, but keeping gas in it was killing my wallet. I'm picking up a 94-95 Escort wagon Monday morning, that will be a big upgrade as far as gas mileage goes. :D
Sad to see the Bonneville go, but glad to catch up on my bills. :)

Yeah, I hear ya. I know my car is better on gas than some but the GTP is not that great... at least for a DD. $3.60/gal premium is scary, and right now its around $3.20/gal and still scary... Just going to school I can burn off over a gallon each way, hurts the budget. I have been considering another car but I really like the GTP so I guess I will just suck it up and pay for it like everybody else...
