malibu was purchased from a guy in oak creek right off of pennsylvania ave I think? or some road by pennsylvania and oakwood or nicholson and oakwood. cutlass was purchased from a dood around the corner from me in oak creek. it was a pile. bought it for 400. cracked the frame in half :D

and yes, that chevelle makes me cream my pants. wins top 3 at every car show he goes to, and its no trailer queen. spotless top, bottom, inside and out. 140% rust free. overall car has about 18k miles, and yeah, its 36 years old. engine was built and chassis dyno'd at 427hp.

the top engine pic of the chevelle is the most recent. the bottom engine pic is when he first bought the car. all original other then dress up items. so much chrome. even his alternator and upper fan shroud is chrome

kinda brownish red interior? no purple shit though. console shift? broken speedometer cable. slipping trans, dont think it was overdrive. turbo350 trans if I remember correctly. and headgaskets were on their way out. :thumbsup

oh hell yeah that truck was packin balls under the hood. she passed everything but a gas station. dual 20 gallon tanks :confused one on either side. I had to park in the middle of a gas station and get a pump from either side to fill up the truck :flipoff2: but she pulled anything and everything. even had the nice alcoa aluminum wheels :D they are expensive

The Malibu looks familiar to me too. At the time there were like 3 yellow Malibus running around, one of which happens to be on the back page of Car Craft this month, making fun of the early 90's/late 80's monochrome craze/fad. And there was also a yellow one in Muskego setup for drag racing that just sat in a guys front yard.

Your old Malibu I remember because of the black bumper and if thats the one, it was for sale off hwy 100 and Cleveland like 3-4 years ago...I think the owner removed one wheel and put it under the rear end too for some reason, anti theft maybe? :)
