Overhaulin' PISSED me off

im sittin on my ass watchin a new Overhaulin on TLC... mostly i like the cars that come from the show..... but this Mercury Comet Vert Pissed me off... its not as much as the car but the lack of anything behond it... the car turne dout slick IMO. But on every other show there has been a story behond the car and the owners. Sometimes its a family car passed down from generation to generation or a car that someone had since they were a kid........ The Mercury was a 17yo (i think) little girl who knew nothing about cars... when she was showed the car at the end she just kept walking around it saying things were pretty.... SHE POPPED THE HOOD AND SAID "OH MY GOD ITS SO PRETTY. EVERYTHING MATCHES"!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!! to a 400Hp 302.......... thats what pissed me off the most...........

im ranting.... im ready for the BCM onslaught now

its still on ..but so many reruns.....time to can his butt like he did his employees...and there on a different show.with higher rateings then his...i think there going to dump his show..he may have been good in his day....but when he works on some of the cars ..he don't know what he's doing....:loser

has any one seen that one show where they take junk cars and then turn them into awesome musclecars, and then sell them at auction....they put out some really cool cars out of there, like a 428 cj torino, an olds 442, heck they even used the owner of the shops malibu (or was it a nova?) for one of the shows.

I do not like that Wrecks to Riches show. Something about building up a car purely to sell it rubs me the wrong way. The best hot rods have some heart and soul to them. I'd rather see someone who actually cares about the cars get to spend 3 years making the car their own, then seeing that jackass dump a bunch of money into it in a couple weeks to make a profit. I have a feeling that shop cuts some serious corners as well to fit their time frame.
