They are all custom, never a factory convertible g-body...but plenty have been done, seems alot on the east coast and 83's for some reason too....a few cloned into SS's on the internet I've seen.
The one you saw in StAllis is probably the same one I saw 3-4 years ago, it was a silver 85' looking one with a burgandy interior, IIRC. I think when I saw it was parked at the Midas on hwy 100 near Greenfield Ave.

It is custom, the top from a mid 80's Cadillac Eldorado can be easily modified to fit...

I wonder if thats a real T-Type made into a lowrider convertible....yikes.
Not a huge vert fan myself either, t-tops do just fine :D. Only way I could cut a roof off a car is if its damaged to neccessitate it.
