I plan on going down tuesday night to GLD. As of right now its sposed to be a nice day out. If theres no chance of rain I will be there. A Few others are going to be comming along also.

Eh, It is ladies night isn't it? I might drag myself out there, need to get the car out since it is working 100% (knock on wood). Though, I may not stay that long, depends if that female announcer is there. The last time I was out on a Ladies Night there was this female announcer that made me want to rip out my ear drums with a fondue fork.

Well, it looks like I am now about 80% sure I will NOT make it out tonight. Decided I would suprise the wife by repainting the bedroom. Painting is not the problem, it is the god damn taping. I am painting the room two blues (5" stripes, vertical), but man it took me 45 mintues to tape one damn wall.

Maybe I will get lucky, otherwise, I will see you all another time.

It was an OK time... turned kinda packed in the middle of the night then cleared out.

Time for drag radials for the DD!!! Ending with a best of 14.002@100.33 with a 2.196 60 ft.

right on par with what these cars run, im happy. Time for a 1.8 60 foot on stickys' and mid-low 13's

I did get to run a new Charger SRT8 last night, badd ass looking car! had loud exhaust on it... I slept at the line, and spun of course... but stuck on its bumper all the way down the track with the SRT finishing 14.088 @ 104 2.1 60 to my 14.1@ 99.7 2.2 60

IMHO that thing should have waxed my car bad. I only have a 5.3 where that has a 6.1 and it has 130 more HP over me, and only weighs about 500 lbs more than my car, they are roughly the same size parked next to eachother.... Blah for 40K Deff not running high 12's at 110 like you hear about. And it was modded!

This thing is not linear at all, its just comes on like a MF'er instantaneously...

I mean it starts chirping the tires when pulling away from a stoplight at 1/4 throttle or more.

Once the LSD is in, and some slicks, ill gun for the south side of 13.5's. Only wallet mod was the down pipe thus far, everything else was laying around.

Ill also try that headlight removal trick too.

Yeah he shreded the driver side inner joint,and jacked the outter one up.

He got one run of 14.4 @ 100 i think with a 2.3 60 foot... Pretty funny for something on street tires too.

i was reading the grand prix forums, and I don't know whats going on. other than a tune and a K&N filter, and mufflers, nobody has any mods for these cars.

you'd think a fast 90, different heads/cam, UD pulley and other goodies would bolt right on. So either somehow because of DOD they don't, or people are pussies.

A fast intake is dumb... and second it wont work on these motors due to various nipples and sensor locations.

The heads are 243 casting LS6 heads. So stock is fine.

Not sure yet if the DOD lifters will handle a higher lift cam yet.

I made a ORDP from a hogan 3" DP for a GTP to get rid of the cat and bends.

If i can see mid 13s from it with traction, thats more than adequate for a DD

what heads you run on the camaro? can't be the stock 241?

you're the first person I've seen say that a fast 90 and anything better than 243 heads (like L92 heads, AFR, ETP, etc)

The monte will get the bottle in the off season when the camaro is in storage however!
