View Full Version : Need help find a bottle of wine.

My wife and I had this bottle of wine at an establishment in NYC. We loved it, however, we cannot locate it anywhere in Wisconsin. I attempted to have a Grapes & Grain in Mequon attempt to locate some, but they were unable to get it for me.

So, if ANYONE has some connections or is willing to look or ask the next time they are in a liqour store I would REALLY appreciate it. I am willing to pay a finders fee, depending on how many bottles can be sourced. Ideally I am looking for at least a case (12) of this wine, perhaps more.

The wine is:

Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben

Vintage 2004

Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Kabinett


I would prefer this vintage, as it is sweater then other years, however ANY vintage will do.

I have attached a copy of the label I received from Per Se (where we had the wine).

There is a Discount liquor in Waukesha has a huge wine section and very knowledgeable staff. Try them.

Also try the discount liquor on oklahoma they are owned by the same people.

Discount has the largest wine selection around, and the guy at the Waukesha store will order whatever you want, if they make it, he'll get it for you. :alcoholic

LMAO @ the Boones Farm!!! I remember drinking that WAAAAAYYY back when I wasnt even supposed to be drinking! Its pretty much a big ass bottle of melted freeze pop!

there's a nice looking liquor store that just opened here in oconomowoc, i've yet to stop in there, but this will give me a good excuse...
