As some of you know I am looking to sell my Grand Prix. Its advertised in Old Car Trader and on Classical Pontiac and basically I have gotten no serious calls on it. Im currently asking $16,900 obo and have been possibly considering modifing the asking price. I guess my question is. Should I leave it alone or change it and if I change it how much should I lower it? I would like to have it gone by late fall as storage this year is gonna be tough.

Thanks, Tom

You won't get that kind of money around here, its an awesome car, worth the asking price, but there is no market around here. Did you try Ebay? I would say that is your best bet. I'll PM you some links later to advertise it on, I''m on my way out the door right now....

Is it an original SJ? Do you have any pics and/or more info on it?

I have a friend who loves the old GP's, inf fact he almost bought a California SJ earlier this year..until he sent the VIN to Pontiac Historical and found out it wasn't a real SJ as the seller claimed it was.

If your car is nice, clean and original, he may be interested. Let me know...

Yeah, Ebay has been tried and it hit a whopping $8,900 bucks. I don't know why but it did not even clear $10,000.

Well, Too be honest I have never been able to verify wether or not its a "TRUE" SJ.. Pretty much all the correct SJ options are there, but its not an "SJ" according to the invoice. I bought it as an SJ and have been told by other GP owners that it is A "real SJ" but don't have paperwork to back that up.

Here are a couple of Pics...

Have you tried http://www.abodysite.com/? Or www.grandamregistry.com

Taking the car to the Foster show this sunday is sure to help, or any car show.
