an good girlfriend of mine was killed while riding on the back of a motorcycle on saturday after state fair in west allis. the rider was not at fault any way and they were hit by a 35 year old woman that was driving drunk. very sad day. it will take almost a week to prepare her body for the funeral on friday. this really makes me second guess on buying another bike.

That is another reason I don't drink, If you don't drink at all you don't have to worry about how much you had. I am really sorry to hear about your loss.

I heard that girl used to hang out at SMA. When someone described her to me, I knew exactly who she was. Thoughts and prayers to her family. :(

sorry to hear your loss. I knew conrad (driver of the bike) for about 15 years. Some of you older guys may also remember him, back in the day he did frequent HWY100,in the days of CB radios, his handle was RATMAN.

Bikes are dangerous....its a risk to ride. Drunk driver or not, bad things happen or will happen when you're on a bike. I refuse to finance a new motorcycle. I see no need in making payments on something that I consider disposable and will end up getting damaged. I don't own a 20k Harley, those have never been my thing and I think they're overrated. Insurance is bad enough with what I own.

I don't know if any of you remember the 4th of July Road Rage incident up in Hartford that ended up with an 18 year old kid dying, but his mother is a friend of mine from many many years back. She told me she knew he was taking a risk by getting on that bike, but it was something he loved to do. His funeral was delayed 1.5 hours so the 500+ people could go through visitation. One of the saddest things I've ever seen.

My thoughts go out to you. I know how you feel.

it is DANGEROUS to step outside of the roof of your House?

anytime you cross a street, or drive in your car, ride a roller coaster,
use a Knife in the kitchen, do your Physical JOB at work,
anything, you run the risk of getting hurt or Killed.

if you use that preTENSE, that something is dangerous,
you better not even get out of your Padded Cell.

I am VERY sorry to hear about the LOSS of this young Lady,
or any death, by someone ELSES negligence.

we all need to make sure we pay extreem attention to our driving,
LIKE not talking on a cell phone and driving at the same time!

That 35 year old woman will be charged with Murder,
and will be in jail for a long time,
and will be sued for HUGE ammounts of money,
so much money that she will be broke forever!

Lets all take the TIME to LOOK for Motorcycles
1. look over your shoulder before you change lanes,
2. and Look twice before crossing an intersection from a stop sign,
3. and really look before you turn Left, for oncoming motorcycles.
