I picked up a ported and polished cobra intake for my 91 mustang gt at elkhorn last weekend and now a friend has a rebuilt 351 windsor he needs to sell cheap for school money, anyone know if the intake will fit? Im new to the whole fuel injection stuff this is my first fuel injected car and its got 155,000 on the motor so id like to change it cheaply before i go sticking money into more performance parts. Thanks to anyone that can help me out.

The lower intake is specific to each motor (302 vs 351). The upper intake is universal. I.E. it will work on either engine.

So, to answer your question: It depends on which lower intake you have. :) It is most likely the 5.0L lower, which you will not be able to use on a 351w and viseversa.

Watch what you put on that engine at 155k turns. You may want to consider at LEAST doing your headgaskets.

Yea i plan on changing the heads if i can find a set for a decent price. I just dont wanna stick to much money into it and have the bottom end go, I think im gonna pick the windsor up since he only wants 250 for it just incase i blow up the 5.0

Build the Windsor while you wear out the 5.0.

are you interested in an efi manifold for the 351 off of an old lightning pickup? A buddy of mine has had one sitting around for the past 5 years.
