Hello everyone -
I am new to this forum. However, I wanted to invite anyone who is interested in attending a little cruise to the Gurnee Car Show on Friday, August 11, 2006. I have the following cars attending thus far:

2002 911 Twin Turbo

Well guys -

The point is that we are going to the Gurnee Car Show. For those of you who have never been to that show, maybe you should check it out. It has cars of all types, last time I went there in May 2006 there were easily 250 plus cars all in the Gurnee Mills Parking Lot. Cars of all makes and years including exotics.

By the way, eleven of us are driving down, not having a car show at the park and ride. Lame or not lame - It is up to you. The list of cars speaks for itself, so if you have a car that you consider "Cool" or "Fast", by all means show up. There are many of us that are just auto enthusiasts, and thought that I would invite members of this forum to join. If your not interested, that is fine, not big deal. Maybe we will see you at one of the local shows around town.

Don't worry about those guys......

If the show is cool and they miss it, it's their loss. I'll try to be there and steal some LS1's when no one is lookin'.....:headbang

I will have the GS. I believe that another Grand Sport Registry member (Peter) will be joing us with his as well. So, I have not driven this one in a while, so the plan is to let it run a little. The other two are stored for the year. I look forward to seeing you there with that beautiful 94. It should be fun.

It's to bad you don't feel we could have a good show. I personally throughly enjoyed seeing a Ford GT tear up the streets and do a nice burnout. The Viper, Porsche Twin Turbo, turbocharged Trans Am, several highly modified Corvette's, Z06's, and CTS's were very nice. Plus the drive down from Milwaukee to Gurnee was such a blast.
