Here is the story.

I bought a set of chrome 077s Feb. 9th. and paid for them in full with cash. When I bought them from Mr. P's Ricky told me they would be in in 2 weeks. So I waited my 2 weeks and no rims. I called back and they said my rims where sent to the wrong tire store and that store sold them. They now they have to find me 4 more rims to send to Mr. P's. The only problem is these rims are on national back order so no one has them in the 18*8 chrome.

Another 3 weeks went by and my rims showed up at Mr. P's but 2 of them were damaged. One with a scratch and one with a bubble in the chrome. So they ordered me 2 more rims.

Another couple weeks went by and 2 more rims came in and one of them had a huge scratch in the chrome. Now I am getting angry. I still need one more good rim.

Well they ordered me another rim and it came in couple weeks later but it was a 17 inch rim. I ordered 18s.

Now there are no more 18 inch 077 chrome rims anywhere for sale in the world. So they told me it would be a couple more weeks because they had to make me my rim.

Well last Friday I got a call from the manufacture in Washinton saying that they shipped my last rim and it was at Mr. P's, but sorry but it came in damaged too.

The manufacture felt so bad he told me I could pick out any rim that he had in stock that would fit my car at no cost to me. I looked through the site and found nothing I liked. So now I am stuck with my grandma stock rims on my car until my last rim comes in. I have no clue when my rim could come in. I am so frustrated right now because I want my rims. I have had a total of 12 rims shipped and only 8 made it to Mr. P's but only 3 where good that really gets me mad.

At the end of all this, I ended up having 17 rims shipped.

Looks great!

I think I saw that car in OC yesterday. Usually GTP's don't grab my attention (no offense), but this one really did and it was the wheels that did it!

lower and level the car :thumbsup stock GP have a reverse rake and looks silly.

I have the springtech lowering springs... 1.8" drop front / 1.6" rear (I think)

Car sits very level, nice wheel gap, but it gets a bit pogoey at times.

18 inch rims + lowering would probably be even rougher

Already did it. It's not a complete cure for the bigger bumps.

Kristin, I would highly recommend getting the 04 comp g struts from your work...on all four corners and new upper strut mounts...also add the pogo mod retainers on all four corners and lower it with SSC springs from zzp..over all the best drop and ride for the price..just shy of $650..good luck..

Let me recomend this to you. Go out now and get a extra set of tie rods. These wheels look great, are heavy as hell. GTP's with all the tq they have don't like these wheels. (they do look great in them though). A little extra $ but look into the Centerline Storms. Brent had them on his GTP and looks similer to the AE 077's you have. (just a lot lighter)

You totally jinxed me. I went in for my alignment and they couldn't do it because my tie rods were too loose. I have to buy a new set of tie rods now. Well atleast they are still giving me my discount and I am having one of the techs do it on the side.
