Dare I ask how much the typical tune costs?

Depends on what you have to tune and how far you want go. Call Marv and talk to him.

You could also try Mike Post's(former NMRA Renegade Champ) shop near Rockford. His site is www.dynotunemp.com. Really easy going guy and he knows his stuff.

Who are you asking Dan? If you're asking me, I couldn't honestly tell you. Call Mike up at (847) 347-5331. He does have a regular day job so you may have to leave a message.

I'm asking any one who knows just kind of curious what I should be paying.

you could call our service manager Andrew. Greg@GLD knows him pretty well. He knows his sh!t, especially for the Fox Bodies. But he's availible all day, at the least give him a call. Plus he could throw it on the dyno for ya :)

If the car is mostly stock, you will not gain enough. Put the money in other parts.

I'm just saying so it runs right. I know I wont' get power gain, maybe a few but I just want it to run right, not to rich not to lean.

Yeah...mines mostly stock.

Exhaust, 4.10's and e-cam just about sum up the engine mods.

Intake and heads will be done before any tuning....but not for a little while yet.

With it that stock, the Mass Air meter and o2's will keep it from running too rich or too lean,
Keep buying parts!:)

Are you talking to me or Lash, because mine doesn't have any of the above :)

Lashes-

You gotta call Bobby about the carbs.

marv does good work, although I have to go see him, my car is pig rich on idle and is killing my gas mileage and causing me to load up at intersections

not to highjack, but is C&S good for the S197s???

the throttle by wire totally kills this V6, I mean come on, can't even light up the tires, and the lag when you give it moderate throttle is horrible.
