Well, then check out www.rentawheel.com:alcoholic

WTF next? I think I am going to start two new companies, rentablower.com and rentaturbo.com

Though, people may come to rentablower.com for the wrong reasons....

doesnt sound like that bad of an idea. id personally like to see the wheels in my car (in person, not a photoshop) and see all angles to make sure I totally like them. Wheels can be expensive, so I can see how this might appeal to some.

What's so bad about this idea? Obviously there is a lot of ghetto bling bling wheels on there, but say they had a decent set of wheels and tires to try out on say, my Z71 after lifting it? larger tires (33's or 35's) on 16 or 17" wheels all together would be clear over $1,500. Why would I want to spend $1,500 on wheels I might not necessarily like the looks of on my truck? If I was able to try them out first to see how they looked, I think it would be kinda cool. But if all they have are giant dubs and spinners, then forget it.

BTW im not saying to use the place to rent the wheels temporarily, I'd want to try them out to make sure I want them forever. I would only use a service like that to find a set of wheels I want to keep and like the looks of. It's probably expensive though. Wheels I could see renting, but tires? Why would they rent out a wear item?

Find somebody with similar size and/or style wheel on there vehicle, if it looks good, buy them. Any time you "rent-to-own", your taking it up the ass, price-wise. ;)

yeah, easier said then done. Just because a particular wheel is made for a vehicle, doesnt mean someone is going to buy it. and I dont want to buy a set of wheels that are run of the mill and are more common then a honda civic and a gooktube. Chances of finding a truck like mine, with the same color, and aftermarket addons with the wheels and tires I want are not very high  Thanks for the idea though :punch:

That's the first thing I thought.
