haha, actually these pics look pretty good. Must of started with a good resolution. Most of the time the pics are compressed so much and look like hell.

Sharp car!

Thanks for the great responses. I was scared at first to show the car, but I said WTF might as well. If this one sucks, I got one more chance with my Datsun.

"what's under the hood?"

Nuthin good...yet. I'll address that after the Datsun is done.

You got euro bumpers on there?

The bumpers are original. They were modified to look that way by removing the side markers, bumper trim, and the license plate frame. A Reiger front spoiler was molded onto the bumper and the access plates next to driving lights were molded in the bumper too.

Looks pretty good, I know where the first picture was taken, not sure if the last one was taken at the same place or not. Not too big of a fan of the older BMW's, but that lookf far better than stock!:)

"WOW! you actually built a car to look good and not go fast? nice job."

Just imagine when the Z is done....I'll have both for the very first time. I'm still gonna kick your azz for saying that though. I gotta keep my e-thug reputation.

"it was nice meeting you and seeing the car in person, again, bad ass!"

It was cool meeting you too. You have a sweet azz ride.

"I know where the first picture was taken, not sure if the last one was taken at the same place or not.."

Where do you think I took that picture at?

Well, that first pic was taken at Concours BMW. The roof of the building in the background is of Bodyworks by Concours. I think it would have been better if you could have gotten a pic on the "pavillion" (I guees you could call it that) With the BMW flags waving and such..... just think that would be cool.

Big Boost
08-09-2006, 08:54 AM
The last picture is on the pavillion. I actually took a bunch of pictures with my car stationed in front of the flags too. They were too dark because of the shadow the flags placed on the car. What I needed was a reflector on the car to highlight the forefront. I'll try again some other day. Here's one....

I thought the last one was too, but I didnt recognize the garage doors. From the last picture you just posted, I now see that they are the used car show room doors. This picture would look better w/o the X3 and the Grand Cherokee in the background. That was kind of the idea I had in mind. :thumbsup

I love the look of the car, its rather crazy but you could use another inch drop to really seal the deal (but looking the the pics I don't know if you can drop another inch unless you get smaller tires and stretch them.)

I would love to lower the car another .5" - 1" but coilovers would be the only safe way of doing so. I do think that it's low enough the way it sits now.

+1. I think it looks great just the way it is! :thumbsup
