Got this message here today at Northwestern Mutual. They normally never send stuff out like this so it must be legit.

If anyone can help, PM me and I will get you the person's office number.

Sent on behalf of John Poulakos:

Subject: FW: Puppies need rescuing!
Hi all-
Hate to send out a plea like this, but the rescue I work with is in
desperate need of some foster homes for some unlucky puppies from the
south. There are roughly 17 puppies that need to be spoken for by a foster
parent by tonight or they will be put down. If you or anyone you know has
it in their heart to open their home to a puppy for a short period of time
please let me know and I can get you in contact with the owner of the
rescue.

We also have a Foster to Adopt program! This is a great opportunity for
those of you looking to own a puppy of your own as you can get to know a
puppy/dog before you make the final decision on the perfect one!

Please let me know as soon as possible if you can help out!

I'm SO glad I got my puppy. I was so scared the first night I was worried so much about her. I want to get another one so Niya can have a friend. For those that have been thinking about it, definitely do it. I can't imagine coming home and not having Niya there to welcome me.

Just got an email with pics of all 17 puppies, and trust me, some of these are PUPPIES, and damned adorable.

Were is this Happy Trails place? I am actually looking to adopt a dog but I would rather go there in person and then do something over the internet.

Nevermind I just read something that explains all that stuff

Just got more info on this.

Happy Tails works with another rescue in Kentucky that had a sudden influx of dogs, maybe from a puppy mill, I have no idea. Anyway, these puppies/dogs are there. Someone will make the drive down there to get any of the dogs you wish to adopt or foster care for.

This would explain what was meant in the initial email by "unlucky puppies from the south".

Rescues are great places to get dogs as well. I got my Australian Cattle dog "Dingo" from a German Shepherd rescue (of all places).

so like do you know what time they need to know by???

I questioned the "hastyness" and asked that more time be allowed for people to make decisions. I have no say in this really as I am only the messenger but I would send them an email, at least expressing your interest but state that you need "X" amount of time to get back to them.

Is there any information on these puppies. I tried looking on their site and on puppy finder and I did not find any of these dogs that were posted.

These guys are not up on there yet.

Did you email pups2save@yahoo.com and register at the website? I am sure they can fill you in with more info.

Like I said, I am just the messenger here in this, I will do what i can.

I e-mailed them about two dogs I am interested in.

The dogs that are attached in the image is not the ones on pet finder look closely at the pictures.

This appears to be the Shelter they (or at least some of them) are at right now.
