Need a copy of Media Center 2005 SP2

My brother bought an HP pc the other day. It did not come with the Media center O.S. I want to rebuild it for him to get all the junk off. A burned copy of this would do. I have the license so that is not the issue. Thanks

yeah i know. the salemen (dumbass) said hte software was in the box with the pc. Well we open the pc box and there is not 1disc in there.

Sometimes that will work, sometimes it will not, depends on the build number.

That should work no problem unless for some reason your liscence is non standard or the disk you get is for a non standard liscence. Techncially speaking each liscence is only good for 1 computer, but seriously who cares, Bill Gates isn't hurting for money. P.S. when you activate it, you must likely will have to call the activation line and talk to someone in India. They will probably ask you the make and model of the computer. Doesn't matter if you tell them yours or your brothers, but remember which one you told them for the next time you have to activate.

im only activating it once. thats it. only on his pc. it came with all the junk software on it and I want a clean image.

i could make a cd but all the junk thats on it will be there. if i uninstall it all it wont get rid of everything. and i get sick of digging through the registry to clear crap out. if i dont get a disc. i will just uninstall the junk and le tit run like that. i do not like doing that. I wish he just would let me put xppro sp2 on it. i have software for that and license.
