The Holden version el-camino is based off the GTO/Monaro platform though.

This is a GM Corporate W-body.

It looks like it was done well and everything but $45k and a year of work ? It looks like they took the back window out, choped the trunk and then lined the inside with sheet metal? Oh well I was never a big fan of the El Camino

i don;t like th molding for the rear seats. looks like they slacked there. they just cut and left it? otherwise looks really good.. nice job.

Looks pretty good....IIRC there was another one on e-bay previously, maybe the same one but the other was stock silver in color. Well done, although thats alot to take a brand new car and hack it up...should of just used a 2000 or so for a cheaper one to start if you are going to cut it up and paint it anyways, IMO.

Yeah, but who knows.. maybe it was rear ended or plowed in the rear 1/4 anyways and someone saved it in custom fashion. I admire the fab work. :thumbsup
