I am taking the girlfriend to Chicago on friday to check out the Art Museum, and I want to surprise her with some other chit to do. I was thinking the Art thing-erma-jigger, the big arse Aquireum, some hardcore tram riding, etc.. Anyone know of anything we GOTTA see in Chicago?

Ride one of the double decker bus or trolley tours. The nice thing about the tours is that they have stops at all the popular attractions. Just remember to pay $5 more to be able to get off and on all day.

I always wanted to check out the Museum of Science and Industry down there, I've never had the chance.

I was just there with the GF this past Friday. Its kinda cool just walking around downtown seeing all the people, and we went shopping at the water tower mall, (the 7 storie tall mall) and then the other mall about 6 blocks to the south on michigan ave, (cant remember name off hand)

Traffic into town on 94 was very slow going....

Surprisingly downtown wasnt as big of a hell to get around in about noon as i thought it was gonna be.

parking was a biotch though, found a parking garage about 3 blocks west of michigan ave on Ohio, and it was like $28 for 3 hours

Lots of unique characters you see walking around there though.

First time i was ever in downtown, it was pretty cool.

Sit in traffic. That's seems to be all I ever do when going to that god-forsaken place.
