I'm looking to buy a high-def TV pretty soon and have been shopping around for about a month. Does anyone here have one that they care to share their opinions about? I'm looking at either 27" or 32" for size and was leaning towards the LCDs. Here are my top two I'm looking at now but my search is not limited to only Samsungs (but that's probably the way I'm going to go). Anyone have either of these models or similar ones?

I have a 36" LG and I love it. once you get used to HDTV, it's hard thinking what life was w/out it. that being said, my sister has a 60" widescreen HDTV, and my little dinky 32" don't have nothin' on it.

i have a 42" HP HDTV not lcd but its great i like it.. playing the ps2 on it is sweet the only ***** is haveing to buy all the cables the hdmi and others so everything is HD. do not but the cables from best buy they are way over priced you can get the same quality cable on the net for about $25 (best buy $100) just find out wich tv you want and what cables you need then buy them b4 the tv ao when you get the tv you have it all.

I have a mitsubishi 65" widescreen HDTV:thumbsup
Make sure you get the HDMI ready TV so you can get a HDTV cable box if you have cable! The HDMI cable is only 100 bucks extra:thumbsup

Nice, I have a 65" Hitachi HDTV

Do you find the response slower using the HDMI cable? I have the HD DVR thru Time Warner and when I was using the DVI cable I found the response slower, like when switching channels. So much so that I went back to component cables. I didn't see much if any difference in quality, and the response was much faster. Plus I sometimes got picture breakup with the DVIs. Definetly not worth the $100 cable.

Only problem i had with the time warrner box was delay from the HD channels to no HD channels and back! But mine is not a DVR box just the regular HD box!

my LG lags like hell when switching channels or bringing up the menus sometimes. dunno if it's the box or the TV. I know for a smaller TV its got all the features. I know it was an expensive ass TV.

I'd try a new box, but I'm really attached to mine. It was one of the first ones, and it has special powers. lol
