Joe and I are going to race beater vs beater. The prize? Well neither one of us have any cash, but we do have the pink slips to our cars.... o wait, thats the fast and the furious.

We are racing for the respect (also sounds like The Fast and the Furious) for owning the fastest beater on BCM.

Joe - 1997 Chevy Prizm 1.6 liter 5 speed DOHC motor producing about as much power as his electric fan

Me - 1991 Chevy S10 2.8 V6 5 speed OHV 130hp 150ft lbs stock, but beat to piss so badly, its probably down to about half that.

We are also racing for a GLD burger.

i have a 196,XXX mile 2.8 in an auto beretta thats slow as hell. my trans slips alot though. i can onl;y spin the tires in the rain or snow LOL. oh need i mention i had 100 LBS of compression like 2 yrs ago in all cyl. LOL

I'm going with S10 on this. I had the Corolla with the, 1.8, manual trans for my daily driver for years, and that thing was slower than every car on the street. I can't imagine how slow the Prizm must be.

yup, I like the ^ above rule. I had a lil bad luck leavin work this mornin. S10 wouldnt start. it was out of gas. luckily I can buy gas at work for 2.85 a gallon :D

Just make sure the beater isnt leaking too much or they wont let you on the track.

No cedarburg, I'm from the falls... And the prizm will have stage 2 weight reduction completed by that time (removed passengers & rear seat, spare tire, and possibly a few other misc things I won't need)... The S-10 is goin DOWN!! I just hope I don't break this thing. It's supposed to last through winter. :rolf
