Glad to see you picked a car :thumbsup I'll second the trd supercharger because of the warranty. But there are turbo kits that should be out soon if not out already:devil

Yeah, Congrat's on the new car! them things are kind of fun, and i would get the trd S/C as well if i was worried about warrenty!

forget warrenty, the TRD is overpriced and does not make enough power. Just go with something like a greddy kit (they spend so much damn time and money ont there R&D) as long as you don't do something to crazy you should be just fine.

mmmm, personally i would do things in the opposite order that you have stated but everyone is different, i have read good things about the motors handling turbos well, like the above mentioned, there is one in the making but i dont think its available yet, so do some aftermarket shopping

Seems kind of like an oxymoron to me. To each their own, but painting flames on any stock car, even more so a Scion, is very ricerish. Good luck with your intentions. I have to ask, what kind of racing are you planning on doing with your Scion anyways? I will keep an eye out for your car. If you happen to see a Black STi with a shinny front mount running aroun SM that would be me.

If you get a trd supercharger remember to get the 5th injector kit, it helps out alot. You can spend a lot of money with that stuff so I'd buy it used with all the parts you could want for the same price as new(header, intake, ect.). Good luck, have fun.

flames on any import look kinda odd to me.. but to each their own... im just not a fan of flames on anything

2900lbs for a tC is STILL lighter then a WRX.

but the wrx was pushing out more power and awd is just so much nicer than fwd. YOU know that.

my wrx weighed exactly 3300 with some extra junk in the car and a heavy wrc wing, and heavier wheels and tire than stock.

It actually looks pretty damn good not my style but looks good. All you need now is some wheels that will give the car some more attitude.

Drop it an inch, 17X8 +42 (or any other higher offset for the most part), 245/40/17's. You also got the 07 base Tc, not a bad car for 15.5K, wish they stuck a metal roof on that thing, probably drop a good 75 or so pounds.
