It's at the lakefront pretty much centered at the Milwaukee Yacht Club. Sat and Sun from 11:00-4:30. The Thunderbirds will fly last in the lineup both days. There are a bunch of other things throughout the day. It's a good time. Go see it! :thumbsup

Me too, or at least that's what it says in my user title. Navy or USMC? I'm an electircian, or AE for you Navy types.

Really? Me too! I was a squid, though... Got out as an AE2(AW) about 3 years ago. Spent 6 years ('97-'03) on the east coast at Cecil Field and Oceana with VFA-131 and VFA-106. Who are you with?

I was in VMFA-312 in Beaufort SC for 4 years. Made a cruise in the Truman and one on the Enterprise. I re-enlisted and went to C1 (old C7) school, which was 8 months, now I've been back in Beaufort for 4 months in VMFA(AW)-224 which is delta's. I'd rather be in a boat sq, but oh well. I know quite a few people at 106 since we always got a few of you guys on the boat.

Blue Angles > Thunderchickens
Ah, the pride of service. LOL @ the Department of the Navy. :thumbsup

Having watched both, I'd have to say they're pretty much carbon copies of one another, in as far as the stunts performed. The Blue Angels fly a cooler looking jet than the the 'Birds, but as for performance capabilities, I'd hate to have to live on the difference between an F/A-18 and an F-16. The same can be said for the pilots. If I were some rag-head MiG 29 fighter jock whose country was undergoing hostilities with the US, having any one of those pilots on my six would probably make for a REALLY BAD DAY...:wooo

GO USA!:usa
