Anyone work at a Toyota Dealer (Parts)?

A buddy needs a part (A charcoal cannister for a 2001 4 Runner part number 77740-35482 to be exact). Was wondering if anyone out there could help out a little on the price. Apprently there's no alternate brand for this part available at AutoZone (at least that's what they told him). If you can help, please let me know.

I'll see what I can get it for from the dealer, did you try Napa, Carquest, etc.......

Unfortunately thats a pretty common failure on the toyotas. The Vaccuum Switching Valve goes bad inside the canister and throws a CEL. Most of the Yotas have the VSV available seperately the 4Runner does not. If Car Guy doesnt come through for you let me know I will be at Safro Toyota tomorow visiting some freinds.

Yea, whoever can help, that would be awesome. He's just trying to save a few $ on the part if at all possible. Dealer wanted $350 for the part and $250 for labor. I would think anyone who's not completely inept could do this swap themselves, correct?
