I love those old school Hakosuka Skylines (pronounced Ha-ko-ska). There's a guy with a very nice one on Hybrid Z with a RB26DETT in the engine bay. Here's his write up (http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=99877) with pictures.

Not to mention the windows are obviously cheap plastic.

And the best thing about them is they are older then 25 years old, so you can legalize them in the united states! you just have to buy one and have it shipped here! :)

Bozo and Yankee style cars are so sick, people in the states (import wise) have a lot to learn from Japan about automotive tunning. They have a way of doing the same thing we do here but some how making it look so much better:(

I think a lot of that has to do with available parts. Hell, I had to wait 5 months just to get drop springs for my car imported from japan.

I was talking less about parts and more about the way they style cars. Just things like more aggressive offsets/ tire stretch, camber, fender rolling, flares all these little things that set cars off from the norm. What kind of car did you need the springs for?

My 99 Q45. Here she is. Kind of the EXE Semi VIP look. It is a daily driver.

oh, very nice car.. I have seen your car on www.vipstylecars.com, that is where I spend most of my work day :) now the issue with it: your car needs to be lower dude on some uber wide wheels!!!!! slam that sh*t. (im sure your working on it im just giving a fellow boso car lover a hard time)

I would if I could. Money is low at the moment. I would like to keep the height the way is now, leave the body alone(no kits I like the factory lines), and go with wider wheels but staggered. 19 rear 18 front. The car would be perfect for me then.

I have seen a lot of those pictures you have posted. Gorgeous cars. The first few make me really miss my old 93 Q. It was just more car than this 99.

Flicktitty
07-13-2006, 02:26 PM
can i ask how much you paid for your Q?

Flight_740
07-13-2006, 02:31 PM
Well, cheap considering my family owns a dealership and the car has big miles. The car still runs and drives great. a little over $6000. Infiniti is a big bang for the buck IMO.

holy moley! 6000 damn.... i thought they were in the 14-22 range? damn, way off

And I thought I had a nice daily driver. That things looks nice as hell. The other nice things about that Q is I can't remember seeing that body style on the street. Nice car, you have my approval

Thats the VIP look. Slammed, stretched tires, and huge camber. Thats a little extreme for my liking.

68RR440:
The car is either resting on max'd out coils or has air (this is a very wild version of this kind of tunning)... the car does not drive like that the raise them up a little for driving around.

Flick: Those pics you posted are the autofashion cars here in the US. They are doing some really nice EXE work these days. Im glad to see the VIP scene is coming to the states!

:D yeap, and i have you to thank for getting me into it, i was slightly into it (as in knowing what it was) then i talked to you and you enlightend me alot on that and just the whole japanese tuning world in general:haveabeer and for that i thank you. i feel as if i have a very good broad horizon of most of the things that they do over in japan, but i'm sure if i sat down and talked to you again i'd feel very very stupid again. which reminds me, we should hang out sometime. - Nick
