My brother is doing his virgin run with his 67 tempest and I was thinking of taking the Hawk to run against him. I've never run it at the track since Speed Inc had it last summer. Should be high 12's now. Anyone else going to be over there?

I don't think he was, there is another beefed up one running around town that is kind of a dark green though, my brothers is dark blue.

i think you were ahead of me a couple of times. Last night was perfect. No more than 15 cars running. You could make a pass go around and either u were right at the lights again or you waited no more than 3 minutes.

Oh and about that 60. I hit 1.999 on stockers.:goof

good time 1loudrex....saw your timeslip on the subie boards also. Pretty good 1/8 mile trap also. What mods do you have planned for the car?

Im planning on doing a blitz catback with the hks downpipe, then some nice coilovers some rims and brakes, a front mount, maybe a upgraded turbo. I plan to do alot of autoxing with it so its gonna be an all around setup.

scrap the HKS downpipe...its cheap but not worth the money. It still blocks the wastegate exhaust making it still somewhat restrictive. Spend a couple bucks more and get a Helix, Perrin, Invidia or Turbo XS...you will be MUCH happier. The Blitz catback is loud too, you know that right? Just a heads up.

Good luck with your mods and hope to see you out soon enough! I have a WRX also so let me know if you have any questions about the car or anything

i dont mind the loudness, my old car was loud as hell. I know that the blitz catback does not fit with the turbo xs downpipe, i was thinking about that to though not getting the hks one. Ive seen it plenty of times on the suby forums. Ill probably just do it right and get the Helix or the Perrin.

I have the Perrin and its a NICE piece. You can check it out anytime you want if you want to see it in person. Great fit and quality. The Invidias are nice too...good prices also.

I buy most of my parts through Gruppe-s.com. AWESOME vendor with free shipping and great prices. Hard to beat them

Som2002 do you ever bring your car out on Milton ave?

Very rarely. Too many younguns that don't know how to drive in mommies cars. I don't feel like getting rear-ended by some 16 year old. Plus it's usually loaded with cops out to set an example.
