Don't know exactly where this should go, but anyway, who can recommend someone in the area that does good sandblasting of frames for a reasonable price? Anyone recommend someone in particular? What should I expect to pay for something like this?

Just the frame, or you got a body too? USpray in Butler does it, your prolly gonna be looking at 200-300. They do it right

yeah just the frame. 200-300 sounds reasonable. What is recommended you do with a sandblasted frame once its done? There has to be something better then painting. What else can you to to prevent rust aside from just painting?

you could have it all coated in LineX or some other epoxy type bedliner material

spray the linex on the bare frame? Would that prevent rust?

I would recommend you don't Powder Coat it. It's sounds like a great idea at first, but when you got to mount or weld a bracket or something the powder coat will chip and will be a pain to try to match or fix with paint.

No

POR 15 the frame, you can apply it by either spraying it on or brushing it on. The **** is like paintable concrete, its awesome!

Make sure you follow the steps exactly for POR15. Otherwise it's more mediocre then a rattle can. I've had areas where the stuff has been unbelievably strong, and other areas where it has peeled off like a fruit rollup.

You can get it at Milwaukee Paint Supply in Waukesha, not sure on the price though.
