Cars are ok, but we think we might claim the siding. Dented from bottom to 2' from the top.

I wonder what it is like a summerfest?

It has been clear in Cedarburg for some time. I was watching the storms to the south and north for the last few hours, but it looks like one will be coming in from the west in the next 30 minutes here.

Hrmmm I'm happy I put my car in the garage when I did... :rolf I heard hail, ran straight home and put my Mustang in the garage, the Prizm on the other hand... For that it'll just be more custom body work :rolf :rolf

Even had a little here in Franklin. Not the usual round stuff, kind of like someone dropping crushed ice.

I was down in Lyons (just outside of Burlington) and it was nice out. We go to leave and I notice how dark it is out this was. Wouldn't ya know I left the sunroof open a bit on the Grand Prix which was still parked at the house. Now it's nice and wet in there:goof
The rain running down the street and through the yardwas nuts here.

According to NOAA it appears that middle-western Milwaukee county got up to 4 + inches out of this.

i was at summerfest when all of this was going on! it ******* sucked! i was lucky enought to be about 7 feet from a LARGE bathroom when it started down pouring, so i stood just inside the door and watched the rain come down, then it started hailing and then people reallly started runnning i was at Summer fest for 3 or 4 hours and i heard a total of 4 song's and the rest of the time was spent in the bathroom till the storm cleared them i'm like **** this i'm going home!

Does insurance give you a hard time about repairs?

Probably depends on the insurance company. Some of them pretty much itemize everything. For instance, my buddy's garage door got owned by that tornado in Hartford a few weeks ago. Someone came out to verify it was fuct, then that "assigned" the door a value and mailed him a check less his deductible. He called around and is having it fixed and ended up pocketing $150 out of the deal. He's with AmFam if I recall right.

Just called for an adjuster. Was told that if the quote was not worthy of a claim I can resend my claim and nothing will be affected. If I do claim it and it is clasified as an act of god, nothing should be affected.

Will keep you posted.

We had no problems with the Insurance company when we got it fixed. They came out and assessed the damage within a couple days and wrote a check on the spot for the cash value. Once we had a contractor come out and give us his estimate which was higher they came out and checked it and gave us a check for the additional work that was not noticed during the first inspection.

Some of our neighbors did not have such an easy time with their insurance.

Here's a pile of hail on the balcony the wife took while I was at work. This was about 20 minutes after the storm stopped...
