Anyone going to Road America for Vintage Races?

I plan on head up on Sunday the 16 for the Brian Redman International Challenge.

Its always great to see those classic race cars.

I just saw a commercial for it tonight too, it depends on the weather but i wouldn't mind checking it out. it sounds like it should be a fun event!

I'll be up there on Sunday and if I can get the day off Sat also. I'll probably do touring.
Its worth the trip up there- you'll see stuff most will 'normal people' will never get a chance to see.

We were there last year with a couple of cars taking laps. I will talk to Andrew see if we can't take 2 cars again this year. That would be fun.

Did anybody see the Million dollar pileup last year? Among the victims a 427 Shelby Cobra .... uninsured.

i saw the dashcam of brian kennedy's gt.350R. he was the first of the people to not get in the pileup. it was sick. he showed it to me at RA last late august when my uncle was racing his boss

I might be going with my Dad. I'd really like to tour the course, but my car doesn't have enough horsepower for RA, and I don't think my Dad will let me drive one of his agressively around the track.

What time do you need to be there for touring?
