Need an ALDL Cable

Buy one from www.moates.net good stuff there, cant go wrong.

or there are some sites out there that show how to make one but its kind of hit or miss whether it will work or not

I assume that's also known as an OBDI cable, so yea that would work.

You need Cable1 $30 and the USB to ALDL converter $50 Which $80 to datalog seems like alot, if your willing to spend that you might as well get the APU1 autoprom and then when your ready to start burning chips you will have it.

If you go the homemade route I think you can make one for about $15

I think all of the homemade ones will be serial port which can be a problem with some newer laptops.
